My Journey
My work in maternal wellness is both personal and professional. As a mom of three girls, I know firsthand that motherhood can be incredibly meaningful while also bringing unexpected challenges, identity shifts, and moments of feeling completely overwhelmed.
After the birth of my third daughter, I experienced significant postpartum anxiety. Eventually, I reached out to my family doctor and a therapist for support. Having someone help me understand what I was experiencing, rather than simply trying to push through it, made a meaningful difference. It helped me reconnect with myself and reminded me that struggling in motherhood did not mean I was failing at it.
This experience deepened an interest that had already been developing throughout my social work career. After 15 years working with children, youth, and families in a fast-paced, crisis-driven environment, I made the decision to open my private practice and focus on supporting women through the complexities of motherhood.
Over time, this work has become an important part of who I am as a therapist. I bring together my professional experience, specialized training in perinatal mental health, and my own lived experience as a mother to create a space where women can feel understood and supported through the many changes that motherhood can bring.
The Mama Healing Hub is a passion project of mine, created in collaboration with two fellow therapists and friends, Vanessa Spinarsky and Alyssa Trittler. Together, we created the Hub because we believe motherhood was never meant to be navigated alone — and that sometimes, what we need most is a place to connect with people who truly get it.
Membership to The Hub gives you access to all three of us, with different Collections offering increasing levels of connection, support, and access to our expertise. Inside the Hub, you’ll find weekly live drop-in events, daily polls and questions, monthly interactive challenges, Coffee Talks, and a supportive community of women navigating the many transitions of motherhood.
Not sure where to start? Our free Gather Collection is a great place to explore the Hub and see if it feels like the right fit for you. Paid memberships may also be eligible for reimbursement through some extended health benefit plans.

Specialized Training
Supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood requires a specialized skill set. Maternal mental health is influenced by the unique intersection of physical changes, hormones, identity, relationships, attachment, expectations, and the demands of caring for a child.
I have completed specialized training through Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Training and am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. This training has given me a deeper understanding of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, the transition into motherhood, and the unique mental health needs that can arise during pregnancy and postpartum.
I bring this specialized clinical training together with my professional experience and lived experience as a mother. My goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate support that meets women where they are — without judgment or expectations about what motherhood is supposed to look like.
